EXPERT LEGAL ADVICE

Meet Our Team

David Hernandez

David O. Hernandez has dedicated his life and career to serving California’s Central Valley, where he was born and raised. As a former farm laborer himself, Mr. Hernandez understands firsthand the value of hard work and determination. Throughout high school and his time at Fresno City College, he worked weekends and school breaks in the fields to support his educational goals.

After earning his degree from Fresno City College, Mr. Hernandez transferred to California State University, Fresno, where he completed his bachelor’s degree in Business. His academic success led to his acceptance into the MBA program at the University of California, Los Angeles, and upon graduating from UCLA, he was awarded a full scholarship to attend Santa Clara University School of Law.

After completing law school and passing the California Bar in the same year, Mr. Hernandez returned to the Central Valley to work as an attorney for California Rural Legal Services in Madera, Ca. There, he litigated numerous cases on behalf of underserved communities and obtained his first published legal opinion.

In 1982, Mr. Hernandez founded Hernandez Law Offices. For over four decades, he has represented thousands of farmworkers, field laborers, and blue-collar individuals in matters involving Workers’ Compensation, Personal Injury, and Criminal Law.

Mr. Hernandez has also served for decades as a board member and officer for the La Raza Lawyers Association and has dedicated countless hours and resources to organizations throughout the San Joaquin Valley.

When not zealously advocating for his clients, Mr. Hernandez enjoys golfing, playing basketball, spending time with his family, and relaxing with a cold drink.

Joshua Hernandez

Joshua Hernandez was born and raised in Fresno, California, the agricultural heart of the Central Valley. A descendant of Mexican immigrants and the proud son of farmworkers, Mr. Hernandez learned early the value of education, perseverance, and community service.

He graduated from Westmont College in Santa Barbara with a degree in Communication Studies, where he also served in leadership roles including Director of Emmaus Road and Intramural Coordinator.

Mr. Hernandez is a founding member of the nonprofit organization Training Communities to Achieve Maximum Potential (Training C.A.M.P.) in Santa Barbara, and he has served on the boards of the San Joaquin College of Law Alumni Association and the La Raza Lawyers Association.

When he is not practicing law, Mr. Joshua Hernandez enjoys playing basketball, golf, and tennis, and spending quality time with his family, especially his son, Ananias.

Fabian Perez-2

Fabian Perez was born in Michoacán, Mexico, and at the age of nine migrated with his family to Cantua Creek in Fresno County.

He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from California State University, Fresno, graduating magna cum laude, and later attended San Joaquin College of Law, where he graduated with distinction in 2019.

Since entering private practice, Mr. Perez has dedicated his career to advocating for injured workers and individuals with personal injury claims, guided by a strong client-centered philosophy. He joined Hernandez Law Offices in 2024 as an Associate Attorney, specializing in Workers’ Compensation and Personal Injury law.

Outside of the office, Mr. Fabian Perez enjoys spending time with family and friends, hiking, golfing, and traveling.
